There are many elements to effective advertising. Undoubtedly, from a presentation standpoint, the three anchors of successful advertising are Audio, Video, and Graphic Design. A good example of this would be TV Commercials, which use all three of these anchors. What would be the point of a TV spot without video? Clearly, that’s a no-brainer. Likewise, unless you’re going for a “blast from the past” feel, silent video is almost unheard of (forgive the pun). As a skilled filmographer once told me, video without audio is just surveillance, and only private detectives make money from surveillance.
